The Arrows Of The Almighty Devotionals

At the very beginning of ministry the Lord asked me to teach the people to Worship the Lord and study His Word.  The title of these devotionals is taken from Job 6:4 where Job says, "The Arrows of the Almighty is within me."  These arrows are teaching that have come by personal devotion and fellowship with our Lord.  They are like arrows penetrating the Soul, convicting and calling us to richer lives with Christ.  According to the parable of the Seed and the Sower in Luke 8:11 the Word of God is like a perfect seed which will germinate, grow and produce after its own kind in the lives of those who study and meditate upon it.

In 1978 I began producing these devotionals for the congregation at Grace in Tucson.  I produced them to take the people through the Bible in a year with a devotional on a certain passage taken from the chapters for the day.  There are also Evening Bible readings that will take you through the Old and New Testaments, the Psalms and Proverbs in a year.  The saints at Grace appreciated them and asked for another year.  These devotionals here in this JBMI website are a reproduction of those devotionals.

You can copy and paste any scripture reference in these devotionals and paste it in the Scripture search form at the top of each page and read the passage on line.  This way you can check each devotional with the text itself. 

I pray that they are a rich blessing to each of you who read them.  They are not here for profit but to be used to encourage the use and study of the Holy Scripture.  May you be enriched with God's Spirit as you study the Word of God and listening to His voice grow in the likeness of our Lord Jesus Christ.
