Godly education is a point where more and more is being done.  On my first trip into the bush country of western Kenya at the beginning of a pastor’s school outside of Kakamega, brother Javan Ommani told me that I needed to preach the gospel well.  To which I replied I would do the best I could to hear from the Spirit of God.  When I asked why I was told “because it would be repeated fifty times by these pastors.”  They would have it memorized with one hearing.  Many of them might be illiterate and unable to read but they certainly were not dumb.  Now there are more and more Bible Schools, Vocational and Elementary Schools being provided by those whom we are supporting.

The Samro School in Eldoret, Kenya has grown from one student in 2002 to 256 students now in 2007.  They are teaching preschool to standard six in their school.  The school could be much bigger if the way was provided for space to construct larger rooms.  Samuel and Rhoda Teimuge started and manage this school for the welfare of their neighbors who live at a sub-poverty level but will improve their living with the right kind of help.

The Bible School with A.G.E. is now in 2007 over six years old with numbers of graduates.  Thanks for your help with this outreach of Robert Mutambi's ministry.  There is also a school for the children to learn reading and writing and math.  Then there is the training school where parents are learning tailoring, gardening and carpentry as skills for the lively hood of their families.

Kefa and Lonika Kadenge's ministry is helping to feed over 400 children on the streets of the Mathari Valley outside of Nairobi where the Rehema Day Care Centre in association with the Shangilia Orphanage Home.  The Kadenges have at present 40 orphans living in their home!  The HIV/AIDS problem is presenting the work with more and more children for whom the Lord of heaven cares.  We must also.

In Ghana, Harvesters Evangelistic Ministries has been graduating fifty to a hundred men and women from their Bible School every two years to minister and share the Word of God.  The northern parts of the countries in West Africa are largely Islamic and they need and all the Bibles and tools for education they can get.

In Mexico Angela Avellano is now attending the SEBIME Bible School in Hermocillo.  JBMI is supporting her work and ministry there in Mexico.

Do pray and consider helping in these needed areas.  The times are desperate and the opportunities are upon us.  May we not miss the Lord in these things!
